Hi everybody!!

I've been searching this site for a while and I've found lots of good information here. I am trying to bring my fiance, Mohammed here to live with me. He is from Morocco and I hope maybe some of you can help me with a couple questions.

1. My fiance speaks good english, but I'm worried that it will be hard for him to communicate at the interview. Can he have the interview in arabic?

2. I'm still a student and am not making a lot of money right now. Does Morocco let you have a cosponser? I think some embassies don't allow it.

Thank you to all.

Hi olivia

Welcome to VJ! (F)

First your husband can have the interview in arabic (if the CO doesnt speak arabic, maybe you will need a translator?) does he speak french? BUT be sure they will ask you how the two of you communicate and you wil need to show you share enough of a common laguage not to raise any red flags. My fiance was so uncomfortable about his english, but did it in english anyway using french to ask for clarification when he needed it.

and yes you can use a co-sponsor, but Casa has stopped askign for the afidavidt of suppport at the interview, so you should worry abot that at the AOS stage.

havea speedy and smooth journey

You will need it for AOS so you probably made the right decision. AOS is even tricker about wanting to see income

Ahmed says he had his interview in English, but they do give them the option of having it in French, Arabic, and I think Spanish (but someone correct me if I am wrong). He also said they did not ask him for anything but photos at the interview. They didnt even look at all the paperwork I prepared. But yes, as far as I know, a co-sponsor is allowed at Casa.

Just bumping so that we can direct Olivia to the 'Casablanca' thread since everyone's experience is different.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Thank you for that link it will be very helpful I think. And thank you to everyone for your response. I feel much better now about the interview. I think I will try to convince him to do it in english because his english really is good but he's just self-conscience. So that is weird that they don't ask for the affidavit in Morocco, but I guess its good news for me!!!!!!! I will see if my dad will help out just in case anyway I think.

This forum seems great. Can't wait to get to know you all more! Where are most fiances from here? Morocco or other countries?
