Hello, first off I want to thank everyone for all the help in the last topic I posted last year, and here we are at the interview coming up. Didn't get a 4 week notice, got a 2 week - luckily most of the paperwork sent and FEDEX gets it there in 2 days. [uSA to UK]

Anywho, I just had a question about the Affidavit first of all. My mother did her own Affidavit - with all supporting documents, and we sent her Affidavit along with my own, however! My Affidavit doesn't have as strong of supporting documents. We met while traveling, we then traveled on and off for a year and a half - so we didn't really work. [sold everything I owned, she did as well, and we met in Thailand.] Since my 2014 tax return shows no income, is that okay? [it was filed, it just shows no income reported.]

Question 1)

Is that okay? To re-iterate, my Affidavit [i-134] only has my tax return with no income reported. I am a substitute custodian, so I don't really have an employee letter. I included a paystub though. Once again, my mother who is co-signing, she has all the supporting affidavit paperwork [employee letter, etc]

Question 2)

We met while traveling. I never went to her home country to meet her, but we have spent over a year of our lives together. Is this a problem? I have plenty of photos etc, passport photos of our stamps, and she's never came to America. But we have met within the last 2 years. We didn't separate until September, and we were lucky enough to have an interview at the end of November, so we didn't really need to fly to meet eachother.

Question 3)

As said, we met while traveling. We just used credit cards, cash - etc, do I need to prove this if they ask how we supported ourselves while traveling? Will they ask?

Thank you so much for the help.

Yes, the purpose of you submitting one shows that you do need a cosponsor.

No requirement on where you met in person.

Probably not.

Thank you so much for the help.
