I thought I had read where it was no, but I was uncertain. That's why I was asking. I want to avoid delays and avoid more 57 dollar shipping costs if I put the package together wrong.

It clearly requests a signature/date. in the Signature of Applicant /Date Box. Also the letter of intent to marry. She needs to sign date in blue/black ink. Some people prefer blue.

As a side note, $57 seems rather excessive. I shipped 15 lbs of paperwork for far less than $50 and it took 2 days.

It's for an I-129F.

And the costs to use 2Go/FedEx from Phils to US is 57 dollars.

its hardly unreasonable for the govt to ask you for one signature to immigrate into the country. Lets get a little perspective. $57 for the opportunities in the States....seems like a good investment. Some other user petitioned their father unknowingly...so I think asking for a signature seems pretty enpointe. Could have brought a form with you last time you visited and then filed. All in all its not really that big a deal.

Yes, it clearly says at the bottom to sign and date it.

Has anyone actually received an RFE for sending in a copy that was received via email as opposed to the signed original?

Not seen it on this form but I've seen it for the Intent to Marry letter. It is also super important to have a wet signature (not copied) version of the affidavit of support. At my interview (and I've seen it happen to others as well) they almost seemed more interested in whether the signature was real rather than the amount on the affidavit.

So yes, it's better to actually sign it and ship it in snail mail rather than risk it and send it by email.

I have probably seen it on other forms as well but I stick with answers I remember because sometimes there are annoying people asking me to state my source.
