Ours is still immigrant. I think their is a joker in their office that randomly looks at cases and changes the status so they can all have a laugh... lol

Lol.. I agree.. I wonder what they do there..

What exactly has been the normal process? "ap", "ready", "ap", "issued", and the "delivered"?? or is there more "ap" involving changing immigrant to non-immigrant...

When you go to AP and it says non-immigrant, that means they are printing your visa and should be issued in a couple days. Ready, AP, Ready, AP non-immigrant, issued is what I've seen the normal process. Although some, like myself, just stays in Ready until AP non-immigrant.. So I dunno.

Well, since everyone is quiet, I will break the silence. 13 business days since Oct 15 interview and both cases show "issued" as of this morning. Our immigration system is a crazy mixture of money, paperwork, and mixed emotions. I look forward to seeing everyone here receiving passports as soon as possible. ?

We did call few times and every time we were told to check websites for updates, no help really. My wife did call embassy, but there again, person she talked to reffered her to check websites for updates. Not sure if it helps, but my stepson's status stayed in AP the whole time and only changed to "issued" yesterday morning...

still shows immigrant. I did a lot of research on this process and learned that the days they have interviews at Embassy, they have between 200-300 a day. That is a lot of people. I couldn't begin to speculate on process and how they do things... from all my research, it seems random.. I guess it depends in which officer gets your case.. as in any ither office, you have some that work efficiently and some that don't. I do hope everyone, including myself and my wife, are together soon... ?

"but my stepson's status stayed in AP the whole time and only changed to "issued" yesterday morning..." so your saying...it went from ap immigrant straight to issue??

Yes. I have checked many times over last 2 weeks or so and have never seen "non" immigrant. Maybe because my wife is cr1?

I hardly ever use forums... is why my "quote reply" is not going so well. lol
