Hello all, just like to find out to those who called the NVC, did you have to try multiple times? I've been trying to call the NVC multiple times since June this year and have not been able to get through a single time. Any advice?

By the way, I have filed since Oct 2014, and the case is still currently at the NVC, we are concerned that its taking so long (I'm the petitioner, my wife is the applicant). We also have a almost one year old daughter now. Its been too long a wait...

Thank you!

Derrick

Yes, usually it takes me about 15-20 tries (once, it took about 45 tries) to get through. Trick is as soon as you hear the voice, hang up. When you hear the ringing, you'll know that you've gone through. After you go through all the options, its about a 20 min wait till you can speak to someone.

Also, I hear calling right as it opens (7 am) and when it closes (12 am), its easiest to get through. Since I call during lunch time, I'm guessing that's why it takes so many tries for me.

Thank you! Trying now! :)

Also if anyone is sharing the long wait me and my family are experiencing, please do share as well. My priority date is in October 2014, I see others who have filed much later and already have interviews scheduled already. Nothing against them at all, just wondering why there is such a disparity in terms of processing times.

Thanks again!

Derrick
