OMG what a anxiety filled ride this k1 journey has been! we got approved in july, and NVC now sent over our application to my fiance's embassy, i got the letter aug 25. so they should be reaching him soon... in the meantime. we had goten a cosponsor.... when it said occupation, his tax return says server. but his occupation is a salesperson/makeup artist. his other job however is a server. does that matter? will this still work then since he's showing his income from his employer which listed him as MAC artist. ? And since this tax return is 29,248.00 that's what he made in that year? but his employer for MAC, put he is part-time makes 19 an hour, position, started in 2007, but didnt say his yearly base salary. he told me that he's hourly and doesnt have a base salary? but he said from this job alone he makes enough.... isn't his tax returns enough proof?

is it possible he may have to the other employer to state how much he made in that year? that also isn't a base salary though. so nothing could be written right? is it okay if he just gives the letter from employer even if it's less than what shows on the tax return, but it still meets what we need 20,000 or more. so bank deposits arent neccessary someone said? and it said you had to have an officer of the bank to say when it opened and current amount right, but you're saying it's not necessary ? or is? because it shows average balance for 12 months is 247.00.... doesnt that look bad? but since bank deposits arent necessary i wouldnt need that anyway?

hello there....I'm guessing your petition was approved, not your visa..... im not sure if im understanding correctly, if his previous 3 tax returns (2014,2013,2012) show he made 29K or over and he has some current check stubs to show for proof of employment, you shouldn't have any trouble. You wouldn't have to include bank statements either.

thanks for replying. yes the petition was approved, not visa you understood correct. NVC received and is now sending to Tunisian Embassy. why is it 29k or over? the poverty line is $19,912. does my co sponsor still need the letter from employer? and would it have to match up with the w2 or tax returns?
