Hello all I am hoping you all can help here my fiancé just received a Email stating she needs to get a police clearance from the Romania embassy the thing is she was visiting there for 5 months over six years ago for school with her sister. Her sister who got her fiancé visa almost 4 years ago didn't need this why would she? What am I missing here our interview date is the 24th of this month at the manila embassy Im getting nervouse that this could stall everthing if its legit. could this be a scam or something they want 75 more dollars for this.

As far as I know she don't need one, well that atleast if she can prove that she indeed stayed in Romania for less than six months. According to the list of requirements one should only provide a police certificate if he/she stayed in a foreign country for more than 6 months. See picture below. Hope this helps :) g'luck
