Hi Everyone,

My wife recently received her two year conditonal Green Card - Woohoo  (six months ago). We're planning a trip to visit her family back home. Actually, she's leaving before me since i've got to work, but I'll join two weeks later. She'll be there for about a month, but I'm concerned that I did not apply for a "Re-Entry Permit". Is this necessary since she has her Green Card and valid passport from her home Country (South Korea)?

Any advise would be helpful and this is definitely the best site as it has helped us in our Adjustment Process! Let me know if I can help you out as well~

A re-entry permit is not necessary for a trip of a month in duration. A re-entry permit is only for those permanent resident who are out of the US for longer than year but less than 2 years. Her GC and passport is good enough.
