We just filed for Lifting of Conditions 31 Aug 2015 Just wondering if any Filipinas have recently filed for this and what their experience has been and maybe share what we can expect.

We will have biometric in Norfolk but not sure when at this time

Anyone out there that might have an experience they wish to share or compare is greatly appreciated

Once again we find ourselves standing in line but happily much further along

Hello Don and Jenny

I'm a Filipina too, me and my husband filed I-751 at VSC on 24th March 2015, got my NOA I-797 on 4th April 2015 which contains the extension of our residency to a year, my biometrics done on 29th April 2015. After that, I don't hear from them, whenever I check the status of my case, its just showing case received. On 24th August 2015, I called the USCIS customer service center and ask to speak to USCIS officer and thank God, I was able to, I asked them if they can expedite it because I'm applying for a permanent job which will give me a chance to finish my college too, so the longer I wait, I'm losing my chance to get that job because they are asking the proof of the extension of my residency ( before I signed the contract ). I'm keeping my finger crossed that they will renew my green card soon.

I hope I give you some idea. Good luck to your petition Kabayan!

Don & Jenny. My wife filed May 20. It takes about a year to receive the 10 Yr GC. Go to the forum under lifting conditions and put your information with the August filers and that way you can keep track of others who filed in August.

Thanks! We just received NOA1 yesterday 8 Sept but it is dated 1 Sept
