In 2014, I was a student and had a part time job while I was looking for a job after graduation. Long story short, for 2014 I made about $8k. I got an amazing job, and I'm now earning $32k/yr and I have $10k in savings. I know they will want an affidavit of support along with my tax return in the second part of all of this to bring my fiance over, however, my 2014 tax return doesn't help matters since it's under the threshold. When should I apply so I don't waste time waiting for my 2015 tax return but also don't get screwed by not earning enough in 2014?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Did he get a statement from his employer regarding his income then?

I think that's exactly what you need to do now. Get some paper from him/her stating you make this much and submit copy of that instead of W2 &/ tax form

I cleaned My Timeline. Hope nobody minds
