CEAC No Status

Hi everyone,

I am just curious if this is normal:

I am the petitioner with a K1 Visa, my beneficiary has done medical and is waiting on an interview at the embassy (San Salvador, El Salvador) in 6 days.

I logged into the CEAC website to check what it says as the status just because I am curious, I select Non-Immigrant and it asks for the Embassy and the number. I found the AA number on the DS160 confirmation.

When I do that it says, "NO STATUS" - Case Creation Date: 07-Jul-2015

Is this normal or something I should be worried about?

Thank you

You will use the NVC case number under the immigrant section. Your DS-160 will be updated later. For example, our AA number said "No Status" when ours was created early May, then switched to "Ready" on July 2nd. His interview was July 7th. Your NVC number should say "Ready" and this is the one you want to monitor after the interview. Once you're approved, it should switch to "Administrative Processing" then "Ready" then "Issued".
