Has anyone received their NOA2 which said that your application is being sent to nvc for processing and should take 2-4 weeks before being sent to Sydney and then not hear anything back, it's been almost 7 weeks :(

hi! i would contact the consulate via email to ask them whats going on. We got notice that the consulate recieved our packet Aug 3rd (or 4th aussie time) and it left NVC July 21. So thats about 2 weeks..email them right away and in the email give ALL your relevant details.. full names, petition approval # (reciept #), passport #.. tell them the dates and facts that you have and ask if its been received...Contact: support@ustraveldocs.com GO onto the US travel docs webpage and take a look around and then set up an account. Do you have the confirmation # that NVC should have given you? It should be a long sequence of numbers starting with SYD. if you have that put it in the SUBJECT line of the email and if you do not have it call NVC to get it. Have you ever called NVC thus far?

Thank you for that! After a few late night phone calls I finally was told that Sydney has had it for over a month! No one sent out any info to us which was really very annoying. But now I finally have a interview date even though it's still a while away. October 27th woot.
