Yes email has been received looking at this thread quite a few of us received cc around mid August with some late Sep interviews scheduled last week.

Visa approved pending medical review which was confirmed done and sent over more than a week before interview. I am traveling to the UK in two weeks!! Woo Hoo. Then we are scheduled to return together at the end of Oct.

...now to find a cheap one way flight...

I booked a return as it was about half the price of a one way fare. Some people just waste the return portion but I've booked it for a sensible date next year so it should get used.

I booked a return as well,short notice 1 way are a daft price, just book the return in 6 months only a couple of hundred , still cheaper than 1 way

Nope. Although to be fair it's not an immigration processing fee, we've already paid that, it's a green card processing fee ;)

Did you pay it at the pay booth in the embassy or through the AIS (ELIS) website when you got you passport back?

I was thinking of doing that, but wasn't sure when I'd be coming back.

I booked a 1 way with Norwegian in the end. Wasn't too bad actually since I wasn't fussy about which day.

£359 from gatwick to LA with 2x 20kg

I paid on the website

Do you get instructions with the paperwork you get back with the passport as they never mentioned it at the interview? Edited by CJKylie
