Hi august filler, finally since last august my case got updated on the 23th of may after two weeks of my call with them and submitting a service request on phone with them cause they said my case was delayed than the normal process time of charlotte Nc office and they do not know the reason why so the lady submitted the request with me on phone and said the office will contact with u and tell u what is going on with your case. after 2 weeks i checked my case and finally found last update was on the 23th of may saying that my case is ready for an interview and they will schedule my interview and mail the notice for me, i need your help guys letting me know when should i expect the letter to come cause i did not receive it it yet and i check mail everyday how long does it normally take to receive it? and what papers and proofs should i be preparing for before i go to the interview?

thank you so much in advance

You've been in an unusually long timeline for approval. Did you have a few RFE's that you had to respond to in all this time? I'm glad you have your interview scheduled though, even if it has been a good while! Fingers crossed for you.

No RFEs. We even filed a query after 6 months. They just basically answered that things were slow and nothing to do with our case itself. I confirmed that it was just sitting at NBC when I called about my change of address. I blame the current administration and their push to prioritize illegal immigrants.

That is seriously so odd that you haven't been approved yet. I'd keep chasing this up because I'm sure it's driving you both a little crazy!

Apparently Philadelphia and Washington are very backed up. Like I said, I think the change of address may have helped. We had our interview on Wednesday (piece of cake) and interviewer said recommended for approval. Received a text today that we are officially approved!
