Great photos and a beautiful cat! Must have missed this thread the first time around.

Been worried about my cat, Jenny, all day. She's 21 and hasn't been eating for the past few days. When she refused the tuna juice yesterday I really knew there was a problem! Have an appointment with the vet this evening and have my fingers crossed that it's an easy fix, but realistically at this age I am figuring we will be putting her down tonight. She has had a long and eventful life but it's never easy is it?

Oh no! I hope your kitty is ok.. How did it go today at the vet's??

Our cat is sick again lately too (he seems to be getting sick every year.. not good.. but he seems to be getting better..)

Sorry to hijack Lisa's happy/funny thread with depressing news, but we had to put Jenny down last night. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but the right decision. In short over the past week she had stopped eating and seemed to be uncomfortable moving around. The vet said that they could probably stabilize her in the short term, but she was 21 and obviously no one gets out of here alive. She had a good (and for a cat) exciting life, living in 3 states, 9 homes, she flew on a plane once, had 5 feline roommates and too numerous to count human companions. She will be missed.

I hope your cat gets better de_sjiem!
