Help: Interview date set outside of NOA2 date range!

Hi all. Our interview date has been assigned today and is set for October 27, 2015. (Which to be honest is a lot further away then I expected since other USA/AUS timelines say they got an interview date only a month later then there case was received by the consulate, and ours was received August 3) so our NOA 2 approval expires October 25! Our interview is 10/27...my fiancé is gojng to email them right away to ask for guidance but does anyone know what we can expect ? Thanks!

Hey!

I had the same issue; our expiry date passed while the global visa outage happened a couple of months ago.

The Consulate requested a letter from my fiancee petitioner to extend the validity of the I-129F.

You should email the Consulate and advise them that it will expire prior to your interview and ask them what you will need to do.

I assume from our experience, you will be asked to get your petitioner to write a letter of extension. Then all good
