Withdrawing the I-129F petition

Long story short: I am the beneficiary. Together for 5 years, got engaged January this year, filed for I-129F February this year. Haven't been approved yet but I'd imagine the approval is just matter of days now. However the petitioner decided 4 months ago he didn't want to go through with this. After that happened, tried to patch things up and see if it could still be worked out. Seems like that is not going to happen.

1. I am wondering if it makes to sense to try to cancel the petition now when it is nearly approved? I am not sure if the withdrawal would get there on time. Only reason I am asking about the cancellation is because I have just recently met someone nice who is also from US so I am just a little worried this "failed" petition may have an affect on the possible new petition in the future. Also worried that the "failed" petition may affect on my future visits in US.

2. If the petitioner sends that withdrawal letter, how should it be worded? (Would also include NOA1 with the withdrawal letter)

3. What address that withdrawal letter should be send to?

Thank you!

I Petitioner did a withdrawl after it was approved.

It was never mentioned during the interview. Same country for the withdraw and petition for me.

Have the petitioner do a letter stating he wants to withdraw K1 and notarize it. (include all information he has) Send 3 copies, one to USCIS center where case is being processed, One to NVC, and one to the Embassy in the country where the interview is to take place.
