I went to Houston Field Office yesterday(Aug. 03, 2015), after a security check at the door, I dropped my original interview notice to the front window, and waited at the naturalization waiting area, there were about 30 people waiting there, and after about 30 minutes, a nice lady came out and called my name, she told me that my interview has been cancelled because they haven't received my whole pack of files yet :( I told her that I brought a copy of N-400 application form, and all other original copies of the supporting documents which I filed with my naturalizaton application if she could give me an interview, she said sorry but she has to wait for the whole pack of my files, and she doesn't know when I will receive a new interview notice exactly :(

So what should I do right now? do I need to try to contact the NBC or any good advices, please? Thanks!

Lemontrees: The only thing you can do right now is wait. I know I will be as tensed as you if I have the same situation however there is nothing you can do right now as it is still in the Houston processing time frame. All the people you contact gonna say is wait. Wait a month or two and then if you still don't hear from them you can take further actions like info pass, congressmen, etc.. In the mean time who knows they may have already mailed your new interview letter. Good luck.
