Hi Everyone,

We just recieved our AOS interview date on 6th of April!! I have the biometrics appointment this Friday for I-485 and I-765. My question is that my EAD card probably will come in the end of April, I have read somewhere that you get a "green card stamp" at the interview so... does that mean I can start working before I get the EAD card right after the interview?

Thank you... :help:

Hey good luck with the interview. Only a few places give out the stamp in the passport, but there are office's that do. If they stamp your passport it will be evidence of LPR and you can start working without the EAD because you wont need it. The stamp is valid for 1 year so when you get you LPR card you wont need the stamp. You can travel on the stamp also but I personally would wait for the actual card to arrive.
