Hi all,

how are you notified that your case is actually at the embassy. I have not received any mail or email for NVC. Only when I check the status does it say ready for interview. Do they actually send you something? keep in mind I already have packet 3 but is there an actual letter from NVC notifying that your case went to the embassy or that it has been received?

I have not received anything to this day from the NVC. I have learned that the K-1 process at the NVC to Embassy stage is very generic. I didn't get an official appointment letter after scheduling my interview and when I emailed to ask for one they told me to just use the computer generated confirmation you get after paying and scheduling you appointment. Andrews Memorial will accept that for the medical also.

That's crazy how they change... I received a letter from NVC with all the case numbers and dates on it stating they had sent to Kingston.. When I emailed the embassy about whether or not the confirmation page from DS160 and visa fee would work for interview or if I needed letter from them, they emailed me the appointment letter.
