I don't think so its transition, PLDT is just going bankrupt i guess

So, here's a news about PLDT's income decreases as months goes by. Well, this is not something new cause we all know this would be the effect once business is not providing good service so people stay away from them, mean no income.

Smart Communications and Digital Mobile Philippines reported a 4 drop in wireless service revenues of P27.9 billion in the first quarter, due to lower SMS and inbound international revenues.

Fixed line service revenues went up 4 percent to P14.3 billion in the January to March period.

“While our core revenue sources undergo this transition phase where the erosion of our high-margin legacy businesses still outpaces the growth of our newer initiatives for now, we are taking significant steps to ensure that we are ready and prepared for the digital future," PLDT chairman Manny Pangilinan said in a statement.
