Last night, (here in Los Angeles) I called my connections in the US Embassy in Manila to follow up on my fiancee's K1 visa. As everyone is aware that the US Embassy had stop the visa processing because of the computer hardware issues.

I spoke with my person in the Embassy and they did say the problem is fix, but not yet at 100%. They did tell me they are going to expedite my paper work. They did tell me they are very sorry for the long delay and they are working over time to try and catch up with all the visa request.

They did say our K1 is visa will be completed really soon.

I will be heading to the PI this weekend and have our son's interview for his CRBA and US Passport.

US Embassy person, I will like to thank you for calling me back and letting me know about our process. Also, thanks for always taking my calls when I bug you. Lol

:rofl:The US Embassy in Manila and their "EXPEDITE" answer.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard that answer from a petitioner. They are nice and I have so many hours inside the building I could work there by now. They are sure passing out the 221(G) like candy recently.
