It's truly amazing just how quickly things are going, but just how impatient I am getting along the way :grins:

My medical is tomorrow. I know all will be fine, but I'm getting pig-sick in case there is something there that will hinder the Visa process. Does anyone know if they tell you if anything is wrong? Or do you find out at the Embassy?

Still waiting on C to send me the I-134 of her and her co-sponsor. Hope to have them by the end of next week so I can send off my checklist.

Then I wait for the interview! Looks like it takes around 2 months from the sending of the checklist to the interview date at the moment. Wow, our July-planned wedding looks like it might actually happen!

We are making such good progress with the I-129F :)

I can't wait to be with my honey again. This is such a long time apart :/ I'm so glad we get to speak each day on Skype. I wouldn't wish this distance on anyone :/

Shhhh.. don't jinx yourself.

Yes... you should be told if there are any problems resulting from your medical. Don't forget to get a copy of your DS-3025 from the doc!

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Relax! it'll be fine!

I asked the doc if everything was ok and he said it was pending ofcourse the blood test results.

Just relax and be prepared to hang around a bit, sometimes they take their sweet time ;-)

Good luck!

I have my medical on Friday... I got all my jabs done last week (the nurse 'thoughtfully' decided to give me Hep A/Typhoid as well, even though it's not asked for, on the grounds that 'your booster will be due in three years, might as well do it now!') and have since then developed a load of swollen, sore glands - not unrelated, I suspect!! Got my photos done yesterday (Snappy Snaps, on the Strand - they seemed to know exactly what they were doing, so hopefully other branches would be as good) and they are possibly *the* worst set of passport/visa photos ever taken. I look decidedly unwell and like I could do with a few weeks in the sun.

Anyway... good luck with yours (report back on how it goes!) - and fingers crossed for Packet 4 showing up without too much of a wait! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
