interview rescheduled - name change?

Hello everyone

well, I got my naturalization interview at Hartford CT, cancelled - but quickly rescheduled again

My question is on name change. Technically - I am not changing my name, But I have a long one

and wanted to drop two middle names and just keep my first and last name only

is that doable? and at what stage -

FYI - Green card currently states the full name

Once you are approved after the interview, and after completing all the paperwork. You will be scheduled for oath in court. You will receive your certificate with the new name, and a name change order as well.

Even though you are removing your middle name but it's still considered a name change and it should follow the procedure.

If you didn't request that on the form, inform the officer about your desire at the time of the interview.

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 77-- 06/26/2012-- interview / approved on the spot.

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

day 1 -- 04/07/2014 -- ROC Package delivered to VSC

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

day 202 -- 10/25/2014-- GC received

in addition , usually having a judicial oath would take longer than administrative oath.
