Hello All,

I just spoke to the NVC who told me that my case is completed there on June 15th (after 5 1/2 months and 2 checklists). The rep told me that I will be contacted with an interview date in Santo Domingo but she said that she can not even give an approximation as to how long it will be before I am told when the interview date will be. Can anyone with experience let me know approximately how long before I am given an interview date. Also if you know about how long afterwords should we expect the interview to be in the Dominican Republic Embassy.. Thank you in advance. Hoping to see that light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Received confirmation over the phone of case complete on May 29th, received email of case complete with interview date on June 10th dated June 4th (same day i spoke to rep and told me.interview had been scheduled) and interview is July 14th.

My sister received her email March 26, dated March 20th for an interview on May 19th.

So it seems that DR send interview letter about 6 weeks ina advance. You will most likely get scheduled around the first week of July for an August interview.

Good luck!

Better be ready for the medical exam fee and police certificate and photos need for the medical exam and also finger prints that need to be taken before the interview .
