hi everyone! i am just wondering has anyone tried calling their customer service for an update but NOT getting any because you are not the petitioner. Someone informed me before that it is OKAY to ask for an update if you are the PETITIONER or the BENEFICIARY it just seem so weird?

and they should train their customer service representative when the guy answered he seem so bored with his job.

You're more than likely not to get anywhere because you aren't involved in this part of the process.

The petitioner is the one that fills the information, gathers and sends it in heir eyes and only they can retrieve information about the petition.

So this part is all them, the next part when you actually apply for the k1 will be all you.

Ps- if I was working there, I'd be bored too.

i get your point but a friend called last year and she was given some info while waiting for the NOA2.. so my fiance called yesterday they cant even give any update at all.

one of our issue is my first name it had a typographical error on our NOA1 but they cant even help us with that, they are working there they should suck it up and try to be accommodating to their clients and know exactly what they are talking about he had no clue at all on how to answer our inquires but i guess he is new

You should be able to sort them name out once it's transferred to your embassy, you'll be able to contact them and correct it.

They had my birthday wrong on one of my letters but it was fixed before I even had my interview.

Unfortunately we aren't clients to uscis, we are privileged people who have to bow down to them, you'll see that they rarely help anyone over the phone and usually have incorrect information.
