Hello everyone,I just got married on the Vals day and have applied to get my SSN.However,I was told that i will be getting it in one month time,at the moment,we want to apply for the AOS and EAD but I dont have a SSN at the moment,please what will I fill on the EAD form where it is required that I should write my SSN.Thanks for your help in advance.

With regard to your EAD - if you haven't got your SSN yet, just don't fill in that box. You can see the example form here. Its a PDF so give it a minute to download.

I wouldn't leave it blank, lest the USCIS thinks that it was just 'forgotten'. Put "application pending" or something like that in the space.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final
