Hello everyone,

Just want to thank all of you for your contributions and support to this forum. My fiancée and I filed the application all by ourselves with 100% help from this platform, and I am happy to share with you all that the K1 visa was approved! My fiancée went for her interview in Hong Kong yesterday and breeze right through and was notified the approval at the end of the interview. We were extremely lucky that someone canceled his/her appointment and my fiancée was offered the spot last week! Pretty damn amazing!!! Wish eveyrone all the best of luck and hanging there, because all of you will reunite with your love ones very soon! All our best!

P.S. We are a same-sex couple and was amazed by how cool the staff at the consulate was, and even offered to help find a state that recognizes same-sex marrige if we were unsure.
