Vancouver.

That place is closer to you AND your fiance than other parts of Canada :)

Just remember that although the Canadian Immigration is very nice, your fiance still have to prove that you have reasonable ties to Indonesia.

My friend that I told you about, she had a good job and steady income. She also had a good amount of money saved in her bank account.

And as I told you before, I was in Japan schooling at that time (May 2005). My ties to Japan was that I got a full-tuition scholarship from Japanese Government (they pay for my life cost also), I still had like another year to complete my degree, and I also showed a reasonable amount of money saved in my bank account (btw, i was showing same proofs of ties when I tried to get the tourist visa to USA and I was denied..hahah :D suckz). But anyways, the Canadian embassy were not too strict to us at that time.

HI, I send my form I-129F on december 8 and check was cash on the 11. My case is a little different because i'm requesting for a waiver of meeting requierement due to a hardship. I'm a wheelchair user due to a car accident that I had when I was 17 years old. I know that some of you may think that im crazy trying to bring some one that I do not know in person to usa. My fiancee is from Indonesia and I had seen her only on webcamera. I want it to go and visit her but I found out that the fly is about 20hours which is too much for me. I have spinalcord injury and some metals where implanted closed to my spinal cord to sopport it so some of you can imagine the pain will couse me when I been seating for long time. Well, I just kind of starting geting worry because I may get the notice weather my application is approve or not next month. I did send some letter from my doctors staying that flyng for a long period of time can get me some pressure sores for being seating too long and also the pain on my back. I got a lawyer but she said hardships are very hard to predit. Well I just want to share my history with you guys and please pray for me that CIS will approve my petition because I'm getting very used to to my fiancee ....Thanks...

No one this forum would ever think that you are crazy, don't worry God has a plan for you, keep your faith.

Good luck with your new fiancee.

Hi ! I'm sorry to hear that, but please keep in your faith that God will make a way for you.

Talking about a US tourist visa, I think it depends on your fiance how to convince the US consular officer that she will return to Indonesia after her visit. When I applied my US tourist visa last year, I saw some people got their visa application denied although they proved their reasonable amount of money saved in their bank account, and some got the visa approved. Honestly, I don't understand why. I also got my application denied (that's sucks, anyway :D but what to do), then I re-applied again and finally, I got my US tourist visa application approved. I think it will be the same when your fiance tries to apply a tourist visa in Canada Embassy. I don't know whether applying a Canada tourist visa isn't too strict compared to a US tourist visa, but as of my thought, she still has to convince the consular officer that she will return to her home country after her visit. Maybe, it could be considered as "luck" factor. Keep on praying, buddy.
