so my husband just called me from ciudad juarez and said he was APPROVED! YAY! but then he said that the interviewer didnt take either of the 2 passport photos that we were required to bring. I asked him what his approval notice said and theres a completely different nvc case number...... would they change it for no reason after always being the same??? PLEASE HELP!

YOUR CDJ CASE NUMBER CHANGED????????

AS FAR AS PICTURES ARE CONCERNED MY WIFE TOOK 2 AS WELL

BUT WERE NOT TAKEN EITHER, BECAUSE THE PICTURE THEY TAKE

AT BIOMETRICS IS THE ONE THEY USE ON THE VISA, WE ALREADY GOT HER PASSPORT AND VISA.

BUT IN REGARDS TO CASE NUMBER THAT DOES NOT CHANGE, I WOULD CALL NVC IMMEDIATELY OR THE

CONSULATE ITSELF. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE CHANGED.

BUT THE PAPERWORK THEY GIVE, FROM WHAT WE RECEIVED DOES NOT HAVE YOUR CASE NUMBER.

MY WIFE WAS GIVEN A GREEN SHEET ON WHERE TO PICK UP HER PASSPORT, A WHITE SHEET WITH HER NAME AND PASSPORT NUMBER AND A

SHEET WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR PHYSICAL ABUSE. THAT WAS IT!!!

SO I AM NOT SURE WHAT THEY GAVE YOUR HUSBAND......

and congrats on the approval!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancing: :joy: :dancing: :joy: :dancing: :joy: :dancing: :joy: :dancing::goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy:

My husbands passport photos were not taken at the consulate when he went for his interview either. Did the number start with an A? If so, then its not the case number its the alien registration number

thanks for your responses it was the instruction sheet!!! lol he didnt read the whole thing, the fact that he said the immigration officer/interviewer gave him a hard time and the lack of phone reception! HOPEFULLY well have it next week and hell be able to come home!! He said others at the hotel were leaving today bc they had already received their visas at dhl in 1 day. Im going to have him go maybe monday on the hotels shuttle to see if its there, before the waybill number has appeared on the website system.... thanks for the congrats as well loscharros
