I'm going to be at Montefiore. I'll definitely be in touch to try to get my husband into the Moroccan scene there. It has helped him so much to hang out with Moroccans here in Boston, I want him to find the same thing in New York.

Have you heard anything about Montefiore? Is it a decent hospital? When I visited I thought it was kind of old and run-down, but hopefully it's still a good place.

I'm definitely psyched for our NYC meetup! I'll be moving at the end of June. Astoria's kind of far, hopefully we can find an enclave in the Bronx....

There's a nice Moroccan restaurant in Astoria called Le Jour De Nuit, it's on Steinway Street and not far from the Bronx either.

Hi all - prena sorry things didn't work out - we got wrangled into a bunch of family stuff that neither of us really wanted to do but was sorta "expected". *sigh* That restaurant is really good - youssef's brothers friend owns it!!! We ate at their house 2 times and the restaurant once while we were there. It's definetely authentic the family is from Marrakech. They want to open another restaurant soon. Anyway hope you all can get together. We really liked the area and hopefully I will be getting a job there soon!
