Good morning, im very new to this website. I am a LPR got my green card through vawa may,2014. I have a 7 year old baby girl back home in Jamaica that I've been separated from for 4 years now. I sent in an I 130 for her last month april,2015, I already got an approval notice back in the mail with priority date april 22,2015. The notice did say it was sent to NVC. Ma I really going to have to wait until next year or even longer for her to be here? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Please elaborate on some of the details surrounding your case.

What day exactly did you mail it out to USCIS? From what you are saying, your priority date is April 22, 2015 and you are saying that you already got your approval notice in April? What day did you receive that? I'm sorry but I don't think i've ever heard of USCIS approving a petition within a week. I think what you may have received is the acceptance notice of receiving the petition which is what we call NOA1 - i797. What is your current case status? (check online here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do)

Regardless, even if USCIS did approve your petition that quickly, the wait time is going to be very long. Your Priority Date is April 22, 2015 and the current Visa Bulletin Priority Date is October 01, 2013. Even if the visa bulletin moved one month every month, you're still looking at about an 18 month wait.
