Need help regarding change of address

Hi, I have applied for a K1 Fiance visa in March 2015. I have sent it to the Dallas Lock Box and based on my residence (Austin, TX), it might have been forwarded to TX service Center and the process is dead slow there as you all know. So, if I move my current address to CA, does the USCIS automatically transfer my K1 application to CA service center or how does it work? Please let me know. Appreciate your help. Thanks much.

Changing your address won't change where your petition is. It's already there.

You should have had your no1. What is the first three letters of your case number?

Yes you are at Texas then I'm afraid.

If you want a chance at the CSC you can withdraw your petition and re pay and re apply with a new address. But this does take some time from what I've heard to do.

If it's going to be a difference of 3 months at the minimum, I would definitely want to do it. I just want to withdraw my application and repay and re apply with the new address.
