We have a lil boy that will be 2 year old this July.Is it possible to have the CRBA interview 4 or 5 days before the visa interview?Does it cause delays?

We are still on getting the needed papers for the RFE.Just planning as my fiance wanted to be here during the process.

It is possible IF you can grab an appointment around that time. Cause delays for what?

I heard of people who got 221g pending the submission of a copy of the child's CRBA and pp but in my case, I got approved even without showing those. I just told the consul that the cRBA was already approved and that we're just waiting for it to get delivered.

It takes 4-5weeks from the date after interview, and about the interview the consul will just ask u and ur husband how ur relationship goes, how u guys meet.

The questions are mostly about you and the baby's dad. Your love story, mostly. My interview was really short. The consul spent more time reviewing the docs I submitted.

The entire process took about 3 months for me. It was hard scheduling an interview slot and we had to do a DNA test and then wait for the CRBA and passport. Traumatic for me lol.

We send our documents around august, then one week after we received an interview schedule. October we had our interview. We arrive at the embassy 9am,and instructed to wait for our name to be called. And our time has come,1st interviewer ask for our passports and other docs, i was asked if how many times i've been abroad, took us 1 or 2 mins for the first interview. We are instructed to wait again for 2nd interview which is by the american consul,The first one was filipino. Then around 10:00 we had the 2nd interview that took only 2mins,coz the consul just ask what is my name and How long we've been together. And that's it! Our interview was so easy breezy.
