Hello. I got my ibterview in Lima on March 3, after that the consul asked me for a PC from another country i lived for 2 years. i sent that document on march 20, they received it on march 23, updated on CEAC on march 30 (admisntrative proccesing). And still waiting.

Does anybody know where to call or how long do i have to wait? Any similar cases like mine?

I am sorry you are going through that and have to wait.... Unfortunally calling the US embassy and get someone to talk to is not possible. Any questions regarding a K1/K3/CR1/IR case you have to contact the immigrant visa unit via email and follow the specific instructions how to email them. Here is the link for the embassy and email instructions:

http://lima.usembass...ontact_us2.html

I have previously emailed the embassy and I used this format, hope it helps:

To: limaiv@state.gov

Subject: IV Inquiry - LMA (your case number) applicant-beneficiary last name

To whom it may concern;

I, (your name) Petitioner, United States Citizen, for (beneficiary's name) - Applicant for a K1 Fiance Visa would like to please......... (explain your request for an update on your visa and case). Please contact us at:

(your name) - Petitioner's email address: (your email address)

Petitioner's cell phone for text messages: (your number)

Petitioner's home phone: (your number)

(your fiamce's name) - Applicant's email address - (fiance's email)

Applicant's cell phone for text messages: (fiance's number)

Applicant's home phone: (if you have land-line)

Applicant's mailing address: ( )

If you require additional information in order to process my request for an update on my case, please contact me (your name) at the above email address and I will provide it as soon as possible. I really appreciate your help.

Best regards,

(your name)

After you email them, you will received a generic message the embassy received your request, but you just have to wait for someone to reply back. They usually would reply to emails within 48 hours.

Good luck!!!

Jorge
