I will interview for k1 visa soon and my national ID card is still on processing . So will it be ok if I don't have the ID card when I go to interview ? Does anyone know what I can use instead of id card if they ask from me? Can I use family book? Because I read the instruction in packet 4 , they required the national ID card , that making me concern about it :(

My fiance had her interview yesterday and i can confirm that an ID card was not required. The only time she was asked for her ID card was at the second set od guards that hand out the visitors pass. When she said she didnt have hers they just wrote her name on a piece of paper and kept that. They took my drivers license when they gave me my pass.

Yes my fiance is cambodian. Interview was good. We were one of the last to get called up, so we didnt get out until around 2 pm, but the actual interview was quick and easy. From watching other peoples interviews i got the fealing that they had already decided who they were going to approve from looking at their paperwork. Some interviews were quick and friendly like ours while others were long and confrontational. My fiance was really nervous, but the interviewer kept smiling and telling her to relax and not to worry. He asked my fiance how long she has known me, how she knew she loved me, and how many times i had been to cambodia to visit her. He was impressed that i had come here 5 times. He asked me why i first came to cambodia, how i met my fiance, and what i do for work.
