I will (hopefully soon) get my interview scheduled and I am looking up the following steps. The registering website for the courrier services have changed - as everyone knows by now I guess - and is even worse than before it seems... But enough whining...

My actual question is this:
The New Applicant form requires both a Case Number (my MTL.... number) and a DS-260 Number. Now Ive seen different informations here regarding that DS-260 Number.

Some say it is the confirmation number found with a code bar on the attached file received by email after completing the DS-260 (it is a XXX00XXXXX form number in my case). Some say it is the OMB control number (0000-0000 form) found when you log in the CEAC website and look on the completed DS-260 form right under the "Sign" button. Ive even read that it is the NVC confirmation number!

Now, I believe the first option is definitely the more likely one, but id like some certainty on that before registering!

Any one can confirm what number I should use? IM CONFUSED!

Thanks!

Marie

I had the same confusion.

Go into your DS-260 and click on SIGN at the top.

It gives you the option to Print your confirmation.

Do that.

It's at the bottom of the printout - your confirmation number. Mine was alphanumeric.
