Okay Im starting to gather this up now and besides the usual calling records, some postcards, emails and msn convos heres a few more things I wanted some opinions on:

1. Im not sure if all local newspapers do this but ours run engagement/wedding annoucements once a week on Sundays. We put an egagement annoucement in the paper last week, basically its just a picture of us(taken before the k1 petition), and underneath it says our full names our parents names where we currently live and that we are officially engaged with a few little congratulatory expressions. Does seem like good evidence to bring? It kinda has all the factors pic of us togther, our names, parents names, and of course a current date on the newspaper itself.

2. I know you dont want to give the consulate any reason to think you are already married thats why Im a little unsure about the next 3 ideas, But i have some emails/letters from some places I wrote too about having our wedding there and the responces from those locations- would this be good to bring? And I have my wedding dress thought about taking a few normal pictures of me in it to show we are preparing for the wedding and finally We have also purchased our wedding bands already how about including our invoice/reciept/ and order notice( they were custom made) with our evidence?

This stuff sound good to use to anyone? Or anyone foresee any problems with it?

How does it happen, Great love?... Noone knows.. But I what I do know is it happens in a blink of an eye. One minutes your happily living your life and the next your wondering how you ever lived without them.

I am not an expert, but they all seem like valid proofs. I have heard phone and SMS records are the best proofs, since they cannot be *faked* that easily....not like e-mails and IMs.... Also I have seen somewhere here on VJ affidavits from USC or LPRs that know of your engagement are good.

For my case I have so far:

Phone bills

IM/E-mail logs

Photos of our wedding

Affidavits from 2 USCs and 2 non_USCs (people in my husband's country) that know we are married

Our marriage petition

His insurance card, which he added me to

Airline stubs/receipts from visits and travels together

Hand written letters from the time we met to now

Visa applications I needed to obtian in order to visit him

Also I am thinking about starting to txt my husband....another proof.

I wish you luck!

Thanks! Be a little easier if this was for the AOS interview, but Its hard to come up with good proofs of evidence to show ongoing onrelationship when we havent seen each other in months lol

I'm a little concerned about this too. As we are currently living together, we no longer get any utility bills (all paid for upfront), we obviously don't email, we do call, but the phone contract is under our name....

Gonna start getting parents and friends to send us mail addressed to both of us!

Has anyone had experience of having the petitioner with them at the interview? Does this provide any benefits?

I wasn't asked for any proof of an ongoing relationship at the embassy.

I took pictures of us taken during the 5 trips where we had been together, phone bills from both of us, skype records, a few emails, statements from out joint bank account. Most of what I had was to show that we communicate on a daily basis.

I didn't actually take or need anything like that for my interveiw. I'd already been asked to submit evidence of relationship earlier in the process (photos, plane stubs, letters) and that worked fine!

What you have seems fine, I wouldn't take the quotes from the wedding places cause its not really evidence of your relationship - just that you called somewhere, but the rest is fine!

Good luck!

Here's a question: anyone ever scan these items of evidence and put them on a webpage? That way you don't have to be bogged down, yet everything is at your fingertips?

I know tho that it's easy to photoshop stuff, so the lack of being originals may pose a problem. But they can certainly log on to D's vonage acct and see for themselves, lol. I also know that they won't put any cds or discs of any kind into their computers, but I'm wondering if that security measure extends to, let's say meandhim.com or any other page you might set up.

Thoughts?

No idea, we do have our own website solely based on our relationship had it since july of last year basically to give us something to work on togther with its upkeep and a place for us to store photos other memories were we can easily access them wherever/whenever we want. We did post a little K1 info on there if I remember right, Ill have to visit my own site again to check lol. Though must admit havent worked on it in forever been so bogged down with work and everything going on :( I did send the link to our website with our original K1 petition, have no way of knowing if they looked at it or anything, was thinking about giving them the link too at the interview but kinda the same dont know if they would even bother looking it up and I doubt they would in the middle of the interview but as always you never know and I dont see where it would hurt, even if it didnt really help. Besides proof of the relationship I dont know what else you would really want to put on there, I mean any financial info or really personal info specially copies of personal documents dont think it would be too safe to have it on the open net.
