I-130 for adoptive children

Hi,

Has anyone have an experienced applying I-130 to petition their adopted children? I would like to know how long will the whole process takes before they get to come the United Sates? I called today and the agent told me that I will be hearing from them within a week or two if it approved or denied. I'm so stress out because I has been away from my wife for over a year now because she have to go back to Thailand to live with the kids. I really want them to come to US before then next school term start.

I'm USC and both of the kids are mine now. We been thru the adoption already. They were approved two years ago by Thai Children Court. We supporting both kids since they were born. We been going back and forth to visit. Their dad passed away three years ago. That is why we want to bring them to live with us. It has been over a year now since my wife quite her job to go live with them.
