Hello, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia has finally reopened their online option for submitting a request for certificate of good conduct as of 3/31/15 per an email response to my inquires. I followed the procedures according to the websites instructions. After submitting it, I got a confirmation slip that it was submitted. I suppose I want more reassurance that there were no problems and it is being processed. So I called the Washington, DC office to find some more information. On my first call a woman answered and said to call back in 30 minutes. When I did, the phone just rings and rings as if it is an empty office. I am talking about the Malaysian Embassy number listed for Washington, DC and no one answers after many attempts?

I understand that Malaysia is not as current with their technology as other countries, but the website to submit the application looks like a web page design from the late 90's. There is nothing wrong with that, of course, but my confidence level in that procedure has taken a nose dive, especially after no answer at the embassy in Washington, DC.

Is there anyone on these forums that has dealt with this type of situation? If so, I would like to hear of your experience. Thank you.
