Long story short, contacted my local congressman on a whim. They requested it based on financial hardship since the wife left her job in the UAE and went home when I returned to the US to re-establish my domicile here. It was approved according to the rep I spoke to at NVC on Thursday. I forget the word she used but she said basically it means that she won't have to wait as long to schedule her interview once her paperwork is reviewed at NVC and that her paperwork should be reviewed next week.

Perhaps we might be looking at a May interview then if all goes according to plan?

Not a bad time frame considering we filed with USCIS September 2014 and we're RFE'd by them in December. We didn't get NVC case number until Jan 24th
