My fiancee is from Peru and I am filing now for a K1 visa, I'm just about to send in the 129F. But I thought that it would be good to prepare ourselves for the interview and anything else they might throw at us. So my question is this, is there anyone out there that has gone through the embassy in Lima and if there;s any advice you can give me on how the interviews went, questions they asked, things they looked for, that sort of thing. Thanks

Disclose all prior visa apps, marriages, child support by petitioner (if applicable)

Fiancee should know your kids names (if U have any) place of employment, any

arrest (with details) this helps to prove bonafide relationship along with evidences

pics, boarding passes, hotels reciepts. ph. call & email transcripts & snail mails

envelope proving you seen each other the last 2 yrs & continuation of relationship,

these are whats expected in all embassy

Well neither of us have kids or have never been in trouble with the law. The pics, emails, and chats won't be a problem, now I didn't save the boarding pass from my flight to Lima, but I do have it from the flight back to the states, as well as my passport dates. Also I will be traveling back there in August for our engagement party, and I highly doubt that our interview will be before that time, so I will have those boarding passes, as well as a more current passport stamp, and more current pics. I won't have any hotel receipts because we won't be traveling far and I will stay with her family like last time.

I was wondering also if my presence will be requested at the interview, I would love to be there and if it works out that I can thats great but I was wondering if its common for them to request me or if it really doesn't matter?
