Please help! Affidavit of Support I 864 Joint Sponor doesn´t meet income requirement

I need a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support. My joint sponsor is retired and only receives $12,000 per year in social security income, and the household size in total is 3 people (including the immigrant). I know that is significantly below the poverty line. However, my joint sponsor has about $150,000 in assets that they will be using (not using their home). Will this be a problem?

The I 864a wouldn´t make a difference, because the other household member does not have an income. Also, I have absolutely no other person I could ask to be the joint sponsor. I am extremely worried, and would really appreciate your input.

Thank you in advance.
