My fiancée is from Pagadian City Philippines and has travelled to Manila for her interview in 2 days (March 27th 2015) for the K1 fiancé Visa. We have stumbled across an issue and was hoping to get some suggestions or advice. Here is the situation:

1) I filled out the G-325A form and had her sign and date the form and on the form it asked for "All other names used" and we left that blank on the form. They already have this form.

2) On the DS-160 form that she filled out it asked for "Alias or Nicknames" and she put two first names down as her family called her "Lovely and Agnes" as nicknames when she was young and growing up.

3) Her NBI Clearance has her real name only and does not contain her nicknames on the NBI clearance.

I had her try to get a new NBI Clearance today but she was told she needs to get a letter from the US Embassy. They also told her it would take 3 days to get the new clearance but she has to be back to work March 28th so she can't stay in Manila three extra days. I would redo the DS-160 forms but she already did her medical and they inserted one inside the packet to hand the Embassy. Then the DS-160 form and G-325A forms don't match as one has nicknames and the other doesn't. What we are trying to avoid is a second interview in Manila as its quite the travel from Pagadian City and she has to ask for time off work 45 days in advance. Im hoping we can just send in the information and not be required to return to Manila for another interview. Anyone have any suggestion please reply....Thanks

She already passed her Medical Exam and CFO Seminar

Your fiancee's g325a,ds-160 and NBI should have similar real name eventhough no nicknames or allias as long as the first name, middle name and last name are all the same.

Oh and one more thing u can still redo the ds 160 coz st.luke didn't put the ds 160 inside the envelop thats only the result from the medical and 2x2 picture. The ds 160,Nvc letter and appointment for interview are staple and clip outside the envelop so if u change the ds 160 u tose the old and put the new one.

My Fiancee just told me they put the DS-160 form inside the envelope and nothing is stapled or clipped to the outside of the envelope. Also is the DS-160 form tied to the Interview?

I just had my medical last week and they didn't put inside the envelop the ds 160 they just clip it outside the envelop and remind me that i have to show those on my interview day. As far as i know once u go to the day of your interview at the embassy u have to show first your appointment confirmation, ds 160 and the brown envelop from slec. Ds-160 form their going to use that during the interview to see all the information of your fiancee they going to use the barcode on the confirmation page of the ds 160 to access to their computers.

You can fill out a new DS-160 and turn in that confirmation page to the embassy. It will replace the one that was previously filled out.

Can I just fix the current DS-160 form or do I need to fill out a completely new one? When she goes to the Interview tomorrow would she need to bring a copy of the current DS-160 form along with the new DS-160 copy? Im just wondering if the current DS-160 form is tied in with the Interview in some way. Thanks again for your help

U can upload the old ds 160 if u save it. Or retrieve it then go to new application and some of your information still there go anf edit some of your information and dont forget to review before u sign and submit. Then print the new confirmation page and bring the new one at the interview. Ur fiancee will be handed the new one to the consul then

I just want to thank everyone here for your advice. I did a new DS-160 form and she just got out of her interview and she passed. She only had a few questions a few questions to answer and that's it.
