Medical exams in the US

Hi guys has anyone here had the same situation before? On my visa I have an annotation that says MED CLASS B. Now when I entered the US 2 weeks ago, the immigration officer told me to have my heart check for follow up check because that's what my st Lukes medical exam result says. She told me to go to any civil surgeon and did not give me any papers to bring at the doctors office. Now when we called USCIS we were told that I have to redo the medical exams all over again (just like what they did to me at st lukes before the interview) I'm just wondering why the immigration officer at the poe did not tell me to redo the whole thing and just have a follow up check for my heart condition. Thanks in advance!
