Hi,

I am from Morocco and currently live in Montreal.
I need a police certificate from Morocco for the DV visa.

Does anyone know what we need for this police certificate from Morocco?

Is it:
A- "Fiche anthropometrique"
B- "Casier Judiciaire" from Tribunal (Court)

Also, do you know if it is allowed to have family/friends obtain for me in Morocco?
Or should I get in person from Morocco?

Thank you very much! Wa Salam!

According to the reciprocity page of the DoS, you need both, a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at the place of residence.

Non-resident Moroccan citizens like yourself may request a Fiche Anthropometrique by writing directly to the Direction General de la Surete Nationale, Fichier Central de L'Anthropometrie, Rabat. The number and date of issue of the new format Carte Nationale must be included in the request. The fiche Anthropometrique is delivered only to bearers of the new format Carte Nationale.

Thank you so much for your reply!

I have another followup question if you don't mind:

For the "extrait du Casier Judiciaire", the site says:

- "a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at their place of residence."

Any idea how I can get it? I currently live in Montreal. Does this mean I can only get it locally in Morocco?

Thank you in advance,

you need both of theme,

for the first you go to your local police station, the fee is 30DH and copy of National ID, you get it the next day.

for the second you need "birth certificate" (green) and probably ID, the fee od stamp, you can apply for it online (look at justice ministry website)

you can write an authorization to someone from your family to get theme for you.

Thank you very much for the information! Shukran Jazilan!

For the "fiche anthropometrique" and "casier judiciaire", do I need to translate them before the interview ?

The documentation from the US Consulate says:

g. Birth Certificate, English translation and a photocopy

h. Marriage Certificate, English translation and a photocopy

k. Police Certificates from Canada and other countries of previous residence

So it does not actually say they need them translated. Thanks for your input!

Regards,
