I-134 questions

Hello everyone,

I have searched and read multiple posts but I can't seem to find an answer to my specific situation with regards to questions 9-10 about previous affidavits and petitions.

Some background, I was married in Japan in 1996 and completed direct consular filing in 1998. We were already married over two years at the time of the interview, so she received her green card automatically after POE. I don't remember what type of petition we filed for or if I did an I-134 at the time and unfortunately my ex-wife took all that documentation with her after our divorce (and I have no way to contact her now).

So I'm unsure of how to answer questions 9 and 10. Does anyone know if I would have had to have completed an I-134 back in '98? And should I put my ex-wife as well as my fiancée for question 10?

Cheer,

Adam

You woul answer yes to any questions on divorce or prior

petitions filed (if asked) I don't have the form...You seem to

have filed aspoual visa since she got her card upon arriving

what you signed may have been an I 864 (affidavit of support)

A certified divorce decree will be needed to petition new wife
