Hello my fiance and I are starting to get worried about our case since it hasn't changed in about two weeks. We have been reading other post and they say it should only last about two business days. Our wedding is this Saturday and I believe we are not going to make it. Sigh. Any input?

PS Fiance does not have an over stay and has a clean record with the law in the US and as well as El Salvador. They also canceled his B-2 visa when he got approved.

I am sorry this is happening.

It is always said on VJ that you should not make ANY plans until the Visa is in Hand.

The average is a few days for AP. it is rare to go into weeks and years, and it does happen without any notice.

Most USCIS websites states that this is resolved within 60 days.

this is the best I could find on the matter.

For anyone that has visa in hand... How was your CEAC case status before they handed you the visa? My fiance and I have been put in administrative processing for the 3rd time again. As you can see on my signature. They are taking too long to issue us our visa. We have been checking other k-1 approvals from el Salvador and they get their visas within a week!!! We are starting to think this has to do with same-sex marriage.

When your visa is print the status on ceac says issued.

Administrative processing doesnt have nothing to do with same sex.

I have a year in ap, i am a hetero couples.

Go to administrative forum here , and you will see how many couples are in ap.

Ap is a black hole, you dont know when will end.

So that means that they already printed our visa but they put us back to Administrative processing? Earlier today our case changed to "Issued" and at 2PM it changed back to administrative processing.

ell, i hope you are lucky and they issued your visa.

Sometimes they make mistake, i remember a case here where the status changed then went back to ap, when the person called to rhe consulate they said that was a mistake.

I wish that in your case doesnt be a mistake.
