The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC has jurisdiction over Florida. You can go to their website, http://www.philippineembassy-usa.org/, to find the information necessary to retain your Philippine Citizenship while also having US Citizenship. This is the direct link to the Dual Citizenship information,

I suggest looking at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate websites.

I believe that once you have your US Citizenship, it technically "voids" your Philippine Citizenship at that time because of the oath you will take during your naturalization ceremony.

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; "

The Philippines will let you reacquire your citizenship by taking another oath (and paying a fee of course).

I think one of the questions to ask is what value does the dual citizenship provide you that you won't already have as a USC. As a USC you will still get the one year Balikbayan stay privilege (along with your spouse and children traveling with you) instead of the standard 30 day stay. Look at the dual citizenship primer document at the link below as it has a number of details concerning the topic.
