My spouse has completed the medical examination today in New Delhi. My spouse's biometric appointment is March 25 and my spouse's interview date is April 9th

Question: Is biometric appointment fine or should I cancel the biometric appointment and select a date closer to the interview date?

You are free to select any date according to your convenience.

ok great! Thank you! :) Whew!

I was worried because the instruction on travel state website said at least one day prior to the interview appointment date. It made me think that date for biometric appointment should be selected closer to the interview date. :)

They are just suggesting to complete the procedure prior to the interview so that it can be updated in the system. At least one day before is for the convenience of people who travel for their interviews from other states they prefer it. But if you are nearby your free to do it before hand. Good Luck Your interview :)
